Title: Pacific Pairing: Zeke/Casey Rating: PG Words: 200 A/N: This started out long ago as a series of related drabbles. Today, it morphed into one short whatever. It is unbeated, so all mistakes are my own.
As the grey waves crashed onto the shore behind him, Zeke watched Casey with easy affection. The boy was bent over the sand playing with two tiny sand crabs he’d unearthed. He was so damned enthusiastic about everything, Zeke mused. Another reason I’m so crazy about the little shit. Just then, Casey ran up to Zeke. “Check it out,” he smiled as he shoved his wet palm under Zeke’s nose. Zeke scowled at the sandy, multi-legged crustaceans. He shrugged. “Yeah, okay,” he said dryly. “Why don’tcha put ‘em back and we’ll get moving. It’s cold out here.” The wind had picked up, and the gusts were beginning to blow sand around. Shaking his head in mock disapproval, Casey trotted down to the wet sand, and gently replaced the crabs. They disappeared immediately beneath the surface, leaving a little bubble in their wake. Casey rejoined Zeke, and was pleasantly surprised when the taller boy slung his arm over his shoulders. “Wanna grab a early dinner? Then I thought we’d find a live show for music, or something.” Zeke asked. Casey nodded. “Fine by me,” he answered. Zeke pulled up and faced Casey. Gathering the boy in close, he kissed him passionately. |
