I was finally able to get my hands on a copy of H magazine - at Barnes & Noble for $3.99.  It was shelved in the Travel/Regional section (?)

It is a large size mag (9.5" x 12") full of glossy color and b&w images.  Elijah's spread has absolutely GORGEOUS photos of him wearing 50's style 'well to do' young men's clothing.  OMG - it looks so perfect on him!  And his hair is brushed back in each and every one - goodness, he is one beautiful young man.

In fact, I think his lovely trinket self should be shared.  Therefore, for anyone on my flist who hasn't been able to find this issue but would like to see it, I will send it to you!  No strings, etc.  It's yours to enjoy, or perhaps pass along to someone else.

As honeyandvinegar once said, his etherealness is almost too much for me.  Unlike Sean, who is an endearingly regular guy, I have to limit my Elijah exposure.  Just sayin.

FOR DEAR lbilover  WHO IS GOING THROUGH A DIFFICULT TIME RIGHT NOW.  ENJOY, MY FRIEND!

Is Elijah Wood not the most adorable little trinket you've ever seen?!  We spotted the diminutive star outside of Radio One in London today, messenger bag strapped on and orange drink in hand.  I would like to pluck Elijah from out of the picture, keep him the same size he is on screen and put him on top of my desk; he would stand next to my computer all day and hand me Hershey's kisses while I blog.  Doesn't that sound like the best plan?!

Unfortunately The Hobbit isn’t coming along as well as planned and may never happen at all.

According to Peter Jackson, who spoke to Empire, the script isn’t done. “No, we won’t be announcing Bilbo for a little while. We’re starting to think about casting, but we’re knee-deep in the script right now. And when we do go to actors, they’re probably going to ask to see a script, so we’re powering ahead with getting the first draft done.”

Then again, if a Tolkien family lawsuit (yes, another LOTR lawsuit) takes its toll, the film might not happen at all…

The bottom line is that the Tolkien family claims that they’re owed $220m from New Line to cover back profit payments from the Lord of the Rings trilogy. The family heirs are suing New Line claiming breach of contract, and as part of the suit are asking to recover all further film rights to Tolkein’s work. If that somehow went through, The Hobbit film (as currently set up at new Line and MGM) would be toast.

Sad news, hopefully this movie will see the light of day, but don’t expect it until around 2013.
